Elizabeth Chancellor

Academic Director

Over the past two decades, Chancellor has worked as an educator and supervisor in a variety of residential treatment and academic settings. With a degree in Special Education, Chancellor has held positions as a special educator in the public school system and within residential treatment facilities for at risk youth. As Academic Director of Trails Carolina, she works to maintain our academic accreditation, trains new academic staff, and conducts yearly evaluations of all of our educators. Additionally, Elizabeth teaches a Health class, History class and a Language Arts/English class on the Winding Gap campus. Elizabeth is passionate about helping students take the skills and tools they’ve built in a wilderness setting and apply it to real world situations. In her spare time, Elizabeth enjoys hiking, rugby, and photography.
