    Trails Carolina is proud to be licensed by the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services. By obtaining this license Trails Carolina is registered and accredited within the state to provide services to families.

    Working with licensure and accrediting agencies increases the confidence that families place in Trails Carolina. We pride ourselves by adhering to strong operating, hiring, and field practices.  The Department of Health and Human services aims to aid businesses such as ours to operate seamlessly by offering their support and services.  At Trails, we have created a challenging hiring process that ensures all employees are hand selected and also uphold all of our licensure agreements.

    The Health and Human Services department acts with objective eyes to promote positive systems for the students in our care at Trails Carolina.

    The Department of Health and Human Services manages the delivery of health- and human-related services for all North Carolinians, especially our most vulnerable citizens – children, elderly, disabled and low-income families. The Department works closely with health care professionals, community leaders and advocacy groups; local, state and federal entities; and many other stakeholders to make this happen.
