Greg is a gregarious and fun-loving individual with a passion and enthusiasm for working with youth and families that developed during his adolescence with team sports and his active personality. Greg continues in his work in wilderness therapy, inpatient, and outpatient mental health settings. Through his work with people living with substance abuse and mental health issues, Greg creates opportunities to encourage growth and development within those he serves and also coaches and mentors change within the family unit. Greg received his Master’s degree in Social Work from Western Carolina University and holds current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) from the North Carolina Social Work Certification and Licensure Board (NCSWCLB) and Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist (LCAS) through the North Carolina Substance Abuse Professional Practice Board (NCSAPPB). A transplant from Salt Lake City, Utah, Greg enjoys spending time exploring the outdoors of Western North Carolina with his wife, three young children, and Tonx, their family Great Dane. Hobbies include sports and physical activities, hiking, and camping.
